On the evening of July 16, Li Auto officially launched the new-generation Li L6, priced at 249,800 yuan, with only one configuration—no need to agonize, no need to choose; it goes straight to the top trim, which I think is excellent. And the pricing is very reasonable: the configuration surpasses the old MAX version, yet the price is on par with the Pro version.

The new-generation Li L6's body dimensions—length, width, and height—are 4935mm, 1960mm, and 1735mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2920mm. It is only 10mm longer than the old model, with no changes to the other dimensions. In fact, this is also the foundation for preserving its classic luxury SUV stance with a short front overhang and a long rear overhang.

At the front, there are some minor changes to the face, also keeping consistent with its big brother, the L9. For the rear styling, the license plate bracket has been moved to the tailgate, making it look more three-dimensional. Moving to the side, it adopts the latest semi-hidden door handles, and a lidar for advanced driver assistance has been added to the front fender area.
The new-generation Li L6 offers a total of 7 body colors, including the all-new Dune Yellow, Hyacinth Purple, as well as Baby Elephant Gray, Obsidian Black, Meteorite Gray, Pearl White, and GT Silver. This car can also be optioned with the Obsidian Black package, and the visual effect is fantastic.
Three interior color schemes
For the interior, the new-generation Li L6 also takes cues from its "big brother L9." The steering wheel drops the previous small screen, and the central control screen has been upgraded to a 29-inch 6K integrated panoramic screen, which is also Li Auto's all-new interior design language. For color schemes, three options are offered: Snowfield White two-tone, Wilderness Brown two-tone, and Amber Orange two-tone.

Li Auto's seats have always delivered a great experience, and this time they have also been upgraded with a full-coverage design. The front row is equipped with dual full-size zero-gravity seats with 18-point massage function. The second-row seats use a 535mm ultra-long cushion, with a maximum backrest angle of 140 degrees, allowing us to have a very comfortable and relaxed seating posture.
All-aluminum suspension
In terms of the chassis, the new-generation Li L6's suspension adopts a front double-wishbone and rear five-link structure, uses all-aluminum material, and has upgraded dual-valve continuously variable damping shock absorbers, giving it better support while also retaining excellent comfort. Front and rear dual-motor intelligent all-wheel drive provides stable grip and passability under complex conditions such as rain, snow, mud, potholes, and slopes.
New-generation range-extender dedicated super-fast-charge battery
The new-generation Li L6 comes standard with a 51 kWh large battery, offering 300 km of CLTC pure electric range and 1,250 km of combined range, making one charge per week for daily commuting completely feasible. Paired with Li Auto's 5C super-fast charging, charging from 20% to 80% takes only 12 minutes.
Mach M100 chip
In terms of intelligent driver assistance, the new-generation Li L6 is equipped with Li Auto's self-developed Mach M100 chip and the Mach VLA driver large model. The perception system includes 1 front-facing ATL-P high-performance lidar, 7 8-megapixel perception cameras, 4 3-megapixel surround-view cameras, and UWB high-precision near-field radar, enabling all-around perception. With this system, the Li L6's intelligent driving capability is also at the forefront among models in this class.
Mach chip + Qualcomm 8797 + 6K panoramic screen

The new-generation Li L6 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 cockpit chip, whose CPU performance is 1.8 times higher than that of the 8295 chip. Together with this 29-inch 6K integrated panoramic screen, it enables a smoother and more efficient human-machine interaction experience.

The launch benefits for the new-generation Li L6 are also quite good, including front-row dual zero-gravity seats, four special colors, and the Obsidian Black sport package—these configurations worth 28,000 yuan are given for free. In addition, the dual-Mach embodied intelligence package that many people like (adding one Mach M100 chip, three solid-state variable-focus lidars, and front-row electric doors), an optional configuration worth 30,000 yuan, currently costs only 20,000 yuan, and I personally think it is very worth it. Of course, if you have no requirements for intelligent driving, getting this all-around four-wheel-drive SUV at 249,800 yuan is also a good choice.
