On June 18, the new Shangjie H5 was officially launched, with six models available, offering both extended-range and pure electric powertrain options.
The new Shangjie H5 has minimal exterior changes, with dimensions of 4780 mm in length, 1910 mm in width, and 1657 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2840 mm. The pure electric version features a 124L washable front trunk with independent drainage, while the rear trunk has a standard capacity of 601L with an 80L hidden storage compartment at the bottom; the extended-range version has a rear trunk capacity of 593L.
The new Shangjie H5 adopts a wrap-around cockpit design, equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central control screen. The roof features a 2.3㎡ panoramic sunroof with an electric sunshade. The headliner material has been upgraded to microfiber suede, and the seat shaping and stitching craftsmanship have also been optimized. Seven new ambient lighting points have been added, bringing the total to 10 locations with 256-color ambient lighting throughout the vehicle.
The new Shangjie H5 is equipped with Huawei Qiankun ADS 4.1 intelligent driving. The Pro version adopts a pure vision solution without lidar, featuring 10 high-definition cameras, 3 4D millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic radars; the Max+ version adds 1 192-line lidar and 1 high-definition camera.
In terms of power, the extended-range version is equipped with a 1.5L range extender, matched with a 32.6kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, offering a CLTC pure electric range of 235 km and a combined range of up to 1360 km with a full tank and full charge.
The pure electric version adopts a rear-mounted single-motor drive layout, offering two power specifications and two battery capacity combinations. The 150kW motor is matched with a 64.6kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, providing a CLTC pure electric range of 525km or 535km; the 180kW motor is matched with an 80kWh ternary lithium battery pack, providing a CLTC pure electric range of 640km or 655km.
Xiao Tang's Viewpoint: The new Shangjie H5's update this time has adjusted comfort features, adding driver and front passenger seat massage, 12-way power adjustment for the driver's seat, 14-way power adjustment for the front passenger seat, and newly added ventilation and heating functions for the rear seats, supporting one-touch adjustment via physical buttons, all while maintaining the same price, resulting in enhanced overall value. For those seeking a better driving and interaction experience, the W-HUD and follow-up screen can also be optioned. This update is a targeted enhancement and does not involve updates to the platform architecture or powertrain system.
