On April 18, official images of the 2026 model year Onvo L90 were released. As a model-year update, the new vehicle mainly adds to the exterior and equipment, and is scheduled to go on sale on April 21.

Judging from the official images, the 2026 Onvo L90 continues the overall design language of the current model, with the front face continuing to adopt split headlights and a closed-off shape. A watchtower-style lidar has been added to the roof. Smart driving assistant small blue lights have been added at the exterior mirrors; the lights are hidden in the curved surface seams and automatically illuminate when the driving assistance functions are activated.

The rear continues to be equipped with smart interactive pixel taillights, along with a roof spoiler and a hidden rear wiper. The new vehicle offers a new 21-inch multi-spoke Xuanhui wheel, featuring a multi-spoke radial design with a black-and-silver contrasting color scheme. The changes are mainly concentrated in body colors and detail decorations: two new two-tone body colors have been added, namely purple-gold two-tone and silver-purple two-tone. Both two-tone schemes use the waterline as the dividing line. For the silver-purple two-tone, the upper part is "Ningye Purple" and the lower part is "Chenhui Silver"; the purple-gold two-tone uses "Ningye Purple" paired with "Yunxi Gold." At the same time, the window trim has also been treated in the same color according to the two-tone scheme.

The body dimensions remain unchanged, with length, width, and height of 5145mm, 1998mm, and 1786mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 3110mm. Six-seat and seven-seat layouts continue to be offered. Inside, the vehicle is equipped with a 17.3-inch 3K roof-mounted screen, an 8-inch rear screen, an 8.86L onboard refrigerator (0-50°C temperature zone), 256-color ambient lighting, a 23-speaker audio system, and a large panoramic glass roof.

The powertrain system is consistent with the current model and still adopts all-domain 900V three-electric technology. The single-motor rear-wheel-drive version has a maximum power of 340kW and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 5.9 seconds; the dual-motor four-wheel-drive version has a combined maximum power of 440kW (100kW front, 340kW rear) and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 4.7 seconds. The entire lineup comes standard with an 85kWh battery. The CLTC range is 605km for the rear-wheel-drive version and 570km for the four-wheel-drive version.

Commentary: Onvo is a family vehicle brand under NIO, and the L90, as its flagship model, shares the Shenji NX9031 chip, 900V platform, and battery swap network with NIO. Since its launch, the vehicle has accumulated nearly 50,000 deliveries and has a certain degree of recognition in the RMB 300,000-class pure electric large SUV market. Its 240L front trunk, large three-row space, and BaaS battery rental scheme are among its more distinctive features. The 2026 model adds a lidar-equipped version, which can be regarded as filling in its smart driving capabilities; actual performance still remains to be verified after launch.
