Recently, a set of real-world photos of the Lynk & Co 900L was exposed online. Compared with the Lynk & Co 900 currently on sale, the Lynk & Co 900L has obvious changes to the front face, and the door handles have been changed to semi-hidden ones. For reference, the current Lynk & Co 900 is priced between 299,800 and 416,900 yuan.

In terms of exterior, the new car adopts an all-new front-face design. The original split headlights have been integrated, with the daytime running lights, headlights, and through-type light curtain merged into one, and the lower bumper air intake is larger, giving it a stronger presence. On the side of the body, it switches to semi-hidden door handles, with a floating roof paired with silver roof rails. The overall dimensions have not increased noticeably, and specific data is yet to be announced by Lynk & Co officials.

In terms of power, for reference, the current Lynk & Co 900 offers two powertrain combinations: a 1.5T/2.0T dedicated hybrid engine + rear single/dual drive motor. CLTC pure electric range is up to 280 km, and comprehensive range is up to 1,355 km.

The rivals the Lynk & Co 900L has to face are by no means weak. The Li Auto L8 has shifted to a large five-seat layout, with the Ultra version at 369,800 yuan, selling 6,210 units in July; the AITO M8 large five-seat version starts at 359,800 yuan, and Huawei's Qiankun ADS and HarmonyOS cockpit are shortcomings that Lynk & Co will find hard to catch up with in the short term. Add to that the Denza N8L (from 299,800 yuan) and the Voyah Taishan X8 (from 282,900 yuan after benefits), and the 300,000-yuan-class large five-seat segment is already quite crowded. With more than six new models flooding in within just over two months, after the launch of the Lynk & Co 900 large five-seat version, sales from May to July were only 1,157, 1,107, and 679 units, suggesting demand may have been overestimated.

Dada commentary: The Lynk & Co 900 is built on the SPA Evo large dedicated hybrid architecture. The top trim accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3s, with no obvious power degradation under depleted battery conditions, balancing performance and range, so there is no anxiety on long trips. The gap between the 1.5T version and the 2.0T version of the Lynk & Co 900 is relatively large. Rear-wheel steering only appears on the 2.0T version. The 1.5T version is equipped with Qianli Haohan G-ASD H5 intelligent driving, while the 2.0T version adopts the NVIDIA Thor chip and matches H7-level intelligent driving, with higher cabin configuration as well. The Lynk & Co 900L is positioned as a large five-seat model, canceling the third row, with a huge trunk. The split tailgate's lower door can bear 300 kg and can serve as a platform when out and about, covering both loading and camping. The Lynk & Co 900L is the only domestically produced large-size plug-in hybrid SUV at the same price with air suspension + rear-wheel steering + high-level intelligent driving, and the EM-P plug-in hybrid powertrain is more advanced than extended-range power, with advantages in high-speed power under depleted battery and high-speed energy consumption, but its cockpit ecosystem maturity is weaker than that of AITO, and its brand influence is also inferior to AITO. Let me add a market-level judgment: the large five-seat segment looks lively, but in reality there are more monks than gruel. The Li Auto L8 and AITO M8 have already secured their positions with monthly sales and reputation. The Lynk & Co 900L's hardware (air suspension, rear-wheel steering, EM-P plug-in hybrid high-speed efficiency) is indeed sincere at the 300,000-yuan level, but the Lynk & Co 900 series has already voted with its feet once - in August 2025 it still had a monthly sales peak of 7,380 units, but by July 2026 only 679 remained. So whether the 900L can turn things around depends not on how much the front face has changed, but on pricing: if it can stay around 280,000 yuan, combined with the trickling down of rear-wheel steering and the high-speed efficiency of the plug-in hybrid, there is still a chance; if it continues to push upward along the current price band, it will likely repeat the old path of the 900.
