Recently, a set of real-car photos of the Volkswagen Anhui Yuzhong 08 was exposed online. The new car is positioned as a pure electric mid-to-large SUV, offering three range options of 630 km, 700 km, and 730 km. It is expected to go on sale as early as the first quarter of this year and is expected to be equipped with an L2++ advanced driver assistance system.

In terms of exterior, the Volkswagen Anhui Yuzhong 08 adopts the family's latest design language. The slender headlight clusters gradually rise toward both sides, and the illuminated brand LOGO brings a premium feel. The trapezoidal air intake at the bottom has a sporty shape, and it is equipped with hidden door handles and black roof rails. At the rear, it features 3D controllable LED taillights, and the shape of the taillight cluster echoes the front headlights.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a drive motor model EDF produced by Volkswagen Automatic Transmission (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. The motor has a maximum power of 230 kW and offers two battery pack capacities of 82.368 kWh and 95.04 kWh, with three CLTC range options of 630 km, 700 km, and 730 km.
Dada Review: Volkswagen Anhui is Volkswagen's new energy vehicle enterprise in China, with Volkswagen holding a 75% stake. The Yuzhong 08 is Volkswagen Anhui's first mid-to-large pure electric SUV, with an expected price range of 250,000 to 350,000 yuan. There are numerous mid-to-large pure electric SUVs from independent brands, among which the AITO M7 and Luxeed R7 under HIMA are the strongest and have high market recognition. Volkswagen has certain advantages in chassis tuning and quality control. The Yuzhong 08 also features an 800V high-voltage system, a large space, and L2++ advanced driver assistance, among others. It is believed that as long as the pricing is reasonable, sales will still be guaranteed to a certain extent.
